Receive Shared Decks on iPhone (iOS)
The groundwork we shipped in v0.6.1 pays off: deck sharing now reaches your iPhone directly.
- Open from anywhere: Receive a
.supercardsdeck via AirDrop, Files, Mail, Messages, or a Safari download — review it in a confirmation sheet (title, card count, size, provenance, any warnings) and install it straight into your Library. No Mac needed on the receiving end, and it works even without an iCloud account - Safe by default: Every incoming deck passes the same hardened validation rules as the desktop app, and installs get fresh identity — receiving the same file twice yields two independent decks
- Files-app management: The SuperCards folder appears in the Files app, so received decks can be removed there
Card Editor Thumbnail Strip (macOS)
- See the whole deck while you edit: A new thumbnail strip shows every card in the deck — click any thumbnail to jump to that card, spot unsaved-changes dots and failed-save badges at a glance, and delete cards right from the strip

.supercardsdocument icon artwork and a clearer icon on the “Save a Copy…” menu action
Technical Updates
- The SEF spec, JSON Schema, and example manifests now live at one canonical home (
sef/in the desktop repo) with documented propagation to the connector bundles and website; the spec’s UTI registration now names both apps - iOS deck receiving ships with an expanded unit suite (105 tests), including a golden round-trip against a real desktop export and an adversarial archive corpus shared with the desktop
- Removed unused frontend dependencies for a leaner desktop build
