Keyboard Shortcuts

Every shortcut in the desktop app, organized by where it works.

Card Editor — cards

• Save all changes: Cmd + S
• Flip card: Space
• Previous / next card: Left / Right arrow
• Undo / Redo: Cmd + Z / Cmd + Shift + Z
• Zoom: Cmd + scroll (85%–200%)

Card Editor — elements

• Multi-select elements: Shift + click
• Delete selected element: Delete or Backspace

Card Editor — while editing text

• Bold / Italic / Underline: Cmd + B / Cmd + I / Cmd + U
• Highlight: Cmd + Shift + H
• Insert code block: Cmd + Option + C
• Insert math block: Cmd + Shift + M
• Stop editing: Escape

Formatting shortcuts apply while you're editing inside a text element (double-click a text element to start editing). Card-level shortcuts like Space and the arrow keys apply when you're not editing text.

Brain Dump

• Select all cards: Cmd + A
• Delete selected cards: Delete
• Clear selection / close menu: Escape

Search (Library and Brain Dump)

• Move through results: Up / Down arrows
• Open result: Enter
• Close search: Escape

Anywhere

• Close window: Cmd + W
• Quit SuperCards: Cmd + Q
