Quick Card Mode vs Deck Mode

Deck Mode

In Deck Mode, the Card Editor launches with a side-panel configuration for managing cards in the current deck.

Deck Panel

• Home button → Navigate main window to home
• Study Mode button → (Disabled, coming in v0.2)
• Add as Draft button → Save card to deck with "draft" status
• Add as Complete button → Save card to deck with "complete" status
• Card Controls button → Open Card Controls modal for the current deck in main window (Library page)
• Card navigation (prev/next) → Browse deck cards by position
• Delete button → Remove card from deck
• Card position indicator (e.g., "5/20")

Key Workflows

1. Starting a new deck - Use the Deck Builder to configure your deck settings
2. Update existing deck - Edit cards directly from the Library or Card Controls

Quick Card Mode

In Quick Card Mode, the Card Editor launches with a side-panel configured for managing cards in the Brain Dump.

Quick Card Panel:

• Home button → Navigate main window to Home page
• Save to Brain Dump → Opens save dialog with card naming
• Add to Deck → (Placeholder for next release)
• Brain Dump button → Navigate main window to Brain Dump page
• Card navigation (prev/next) → Browse Brain Dump cards
• Delete button → Remove card from Brain Dump
• Card position indicator (e.g., "3/12")
